Relic density of dark matter in the inert doublet model beyond leading order for the low mass region. II. Coannihilation

چکیده

We examine the relic density of light mass dark matter region in inert doublet model (IDM) when dominant process is due to co-annihilation between lightest neutral scalars model. The full one-loop electroweak corrections are computed an on-shell scheme and found be well approximated as effective cross-section expressed terms $Z$-observables. subdominant which consists annihilation into $W$ off-shell $W$, that calculated a 3-body final state, also performed. latter reveals important dependence on parameter describes self-interaction new (solely within sector), not accessible tree-level calculations standard (SM)-IDM interactions.

Dark Matter with Topological Defects in the Inert Doublet Model

We examine the production of dark matter by decaying topological defects in the high mass region mDM mW of the Inert Doublet Model, extended with an extra U(1) gauge symmetry. The density of dark matter states (the neutral Higgs states of the inert doublet) is determined by the interplay of the freeze-out mechanism and the additional production of dark matter states from the decays of topologic...

Determining the dark matter relic density in the minimal supergravity stau-neutralino coannihilation region at the Large Hadron Collider.

We examine the stau-neutralino coannihilation (CA) mechanism of the early Universe. We use the minimal supergravity (mSUGRA) model and show that from measurements at the CERN Large Hadron Collider one can predict the dark matter relic density with an uncertainty of 6% with 30 fb(-1) of data, which is comparable to the direct measurement by the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe. This is done ...

Neutrinos from Inert Doublet Dark Matter

We investigate the signatures of neutrinos produced in the annihilation of WIMP dark matter in the Earth, the Sun and at the Galactic centre within the framework of the Inert Doublet Model and extensions. To accommodate the WMAP constraints, the dark matter candidate, which is one of the neutral components of an extra Higgs doublet, must have a mass in either one of three distinct mass ranges: ...

Low Energy Gamma Ray Excess Confronting a Singlet Scalar Extended Inert Doublet Dark Matter Model

Recent study of gamma rays originating from the region of galactic centre has confirmed an anomalous γ-ray excess within the energy range 1-3 GeV. This can be explained as the consequence of pair annihilation of a 31-40 GeV dark matter into bb̄ with thermal annihilation cross-section σv ∼ 1.4 − 2.0 × 10−26 cm/s. In this work we revisit the Inert Doublet Model (IDM) in order to explain this gamma...
